Following this week’s announcements from the UK Government and the Devolved Administrations, The PGA is working with a range of industry bodies to establish clarity around the implications for Members in the UK and Ireland.
All documentation released is being exhaustively reviewed and we hope to confirm details around playing, coaching, retail and club fitting - as well as driving ranges and practice facilities – as soon as possible.

ENGLAND
The Prime Minister has confirmed that golf will be included in the first wave of sports able to return once the national legal requirements to stay at home end on 29th March.

SCOTLAND
This week's announcement from the First Minister of Scotland means there are no immediate changes to the current COVID-19 restrictions in Scotland – more detail is expected in mid-March.
WALES
The First Minister for Wales announced on February 19 that the current 'Stay at Home' restrictions for Wales will remain in place for a further three weeks. The next review is due to take place on 12th March, 2021.
NORTHERN IRELAND
The current COVID-19 restrictions in Northern Ireland, which were introduced by the Northern Ireland Executive on 21st December, 2020, have been extended until 1st April, 2021.
REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
The Irish Government has confirmed current Level 5 COVID-19 restrictions will remain in place in the Republic of Ireland until 5th April, 2021.
